Attorney Profile

Christopher Zervic was born and raised in suburban Chicago. In college in the 1990s, his legal career truly began when he was selected for the ISU University Hearing Panel, the body responsible for hearing cases involving violations of the student code of conduct. He is a 2000 graduate of the John Marshall Law School, which is located across the street from the then-INS, now-USCIS facility at 10 W. Jackson Boulevard. For three and a half years, he practiced for John Z. Huang & Associates, a Chicago firm that represents primarily Chinese and other Asian immigrants in matters of immigration, as well as real estate, business, family law, and criminal defense. Following that, Mr. Zervic practiced for a year and a half with the prominent Joliet, Illinois law firm of Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol, LLC, with more of an emphasis on litigating matters in court.

In 2005, Mr. Zervic relocated with his family to Michigan. He obtained a Michigan law license and shortly thereafter established the Zervic Law Office in Kalamazoo. Since that time, he has handled a large volume of criminal matters, including some matters on a court-appointed basis. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried cases before a jury, and he also maintains a focus in the area of immigration.
